  I told my wife I will start pioneering next month ...

  ... if she will prove me from the bible accuracy of 1914. and i stressed i really mean it.. we had one of the usual evening discussions and this was the result.. she said she is not ready for this and must do some preparation and aditional study (which is funny for somebody raised up in a hard-core jw family, baptized over 25 years, who spent over a decade in regular pioneering, reads wt for hours every week and have brought several people into jw cult...).

  but ok, she pulled out several publications and is doing her preparation now and tonight we will have the discussion.. to motivate her i told her:.

  1) if you will be succesfull i will go to preach to everybody in our street about 1914/607 during my pioneering.

  Isaac- to prove GB is a good idea, i thin it will be the next bet...

  Y knot:

  I know its ridiculous, but these are the last barricades she holds ... She lost most of them by now... It just needs great deal of patience, because i tend to flood her with arguments and corner her....

  But step by step its going and by now we talk openly about everything... I told her if she will seek help at elders, they will come over and DF on that evening, so she is (probably) not talking to anybody that we turned into an apostate family....

  I told her: OK, what if Mormons will start publishing even better magazines, should we then go there?

  But then I tell myself "Shut up men, dont corner her you evil apostate..."

  UPDATE:

  OK, So I will not pioneer next month ...

  We had the discussion last night, my wife got Insights, I got bunch of documents from old WT publications how 1914/607 have developed and my wife sincerely admitted, that its all interesting and 1914 probably isnt right... "Well after all its not really importatnt, because we do not preach 1914 t pepople´s door..."

  And she concluded: "But I cant help myself it must be the truth, because nobody else makes such nice magazines..."

  But I must say, she does great progress, today she admits most WT teachings/policies are wrong ... the last points to deal with are:

  • JW have conventions
  • JW make the best magazines
  • JW have meetings where I feel good

  Well its not easy to deal with these points...

  primate dave recently posted video of george carlin, i never heard of that guy, so i chcecked some his videos - he s really great... but i liked especially following suggestion in his video "teach your children to question".. i think it fits pefectly to families, where there are jw or other mind control influence.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ize4_jd2dow&feature=related.

  Primate Dave recently posted video of George Carlin, I never heard of that guy, so I chcecked some his videos - he´s really great... but I liked especially following suggestion in his video "Teach your children to question".

  I think it fits pefectly to families, where there are JW or other mind control influence...

  Saw outlaw at the beach the other day...not bad lookin.....

  i followed the little tree icons directions and have loaded pics before but doubt this came through as when i upload it to the little tree box only a red x appears even though my picture appears in the box..........help please if this does not post and i am in explorer not chrome.

  outlaw i took this from my boat...and could just see you on board!.....oompa.

  GB member in a Ferrari....

  some time ago there was a thread about rutherfords cadillacs... it stated there btw, that the price of one of the two cadillacs he purchased and proudly displayed to public and to wt readers was about 10 times more than of an "ordinary" car of that time.. i asked my wife yesterday: "what if gb member would buy today a car worth 250.000 us dollars (out of donations)?".

  she said "i thik it would be ok..".

  so try to picture: ted jaracz driving to an assembly in a ferrari and delegates are cheering around..... or jack barr having a picture in a new awake in his brand new lamborgini... can you imagine that?.

  Some time ago there was a thread about Rutherfords Cadillacs..

  It stated there BTW, that the price of ONE of the two Cadillacs he purchased and proudly displayed to public and to WT readers was about 10 times more than of an "ordinary" car of that time.
